Blissful.....

Seems like a year ago I last visited this portal of words..In reality it has only been 5 months...The year has gone by so swiftly i must say... Just yesterday i was turning 25...I though it would be the year when all marvelous things would happen to me.. Indeed i have had some triumphant events but something still seemed to be lacking... why is it that we always tend to overlook what's right in front of us and focus all our energy on what we wish to be .....life is funny....

Just last year i had a best friend... and i mean a real best friend.. someone i confided in.. told everything... down to the t.. today.. we no longer speak..why... hmmm i would rather not go i into the clear-cut details, but it's a rather trivial reason..The reason I'm noting this is to prove a point... i can never understand why give so much appreciation to what we have , why some bonds which tend to look so durable can sever in the blink of an eye...

We never know when what we had today will be taken away from us... i have tried to embrace whatever happens to me... good or bad... its all a lesson, which by the way some of us refuse to learn from... not everthing in life is meant to be all fairy tales and glamour..

There are times we need to realise that we have to strive and work hard to get past those occurences... rejoice in the good moments and the bad for that matter...There are reasons for them.... not just coincidences..

After considerate talks and hearing of the book "The Alchemist" i decided to give it a read... no i did not go out to buy it but found this website with free ebooks... "thanks to google"...Indeed it was a wonderful book.. soooo inspirational.. soooo moving.. ..i think that was all i needed to finally realise that not only will disappointments come my way but it was up to me and me alone to decide whether or not i wanted to sit and stay in the situation or pick up and go... i chose pickup and go by the way...

Even if life is not 100% better.. it has improved... i no longer linger on negative thoughts.. at least not for too long..i definitely sleep better, have less headaches.. and i can surely say that i have had more fun this year than in tha last 3 and i'm try new things.. It feels damn good...

So... after all my ranting to whomever is gonna read this post... it's a rainy day... even if i hate the rain... maybeee it will bring me a few good surprises ...:)

Have a good week....revoir :

New beginnings ???

How many times will we have a new beginning? How many times will we tell ourselves that we will change something about our daily lives in other to accomplish something better? In this lifetime maybe you and i have both said that about a million times without even realising it. However; no threat. I think that's acceptable. We come across some unplanned circumstances, and as life is such, we need to learn to work around them or work with them. So disregard whether or not someone tells you yh yh you always say that.. It's yours and no one else's obligation to decide whether or not you are actually ready to follow completely through with a set plan. Life sends us trials and if we possess inadequate strength and courage to fight them we fail, the phrase "today I'm making a fresh start" will cease to be part of our vocabulary.
Success is achieved only by striving.. :)

Lost in the pages of our minds

Ever felt like everything was against you?? I've been there, plenty a times, but in reality I'm the one against myself..

Even though we constantly tell ourselves to change, our mind frames, our actions, sometimes that is easier said than done.. especially when we are surrounded by negative forces.. Yes we try, and all goes as planned for a while, but sometimes it only takes one simple aspect to displace almost all the grasp you hold on that one thought.. and the cycle begins all over again ...

I sympathize with bipolar/moody persons, for I too as I am one.. I understand ..sometime we just cant help ourselves..

In any case, we bounce back, and all is well with the world again... untilll....

Have a great weekend people, and enjoy this post courtesy of http://positive-thoughts.typepad.com/

Focused less on what you need to do and more on what you need to be.
How many times have we talked about all the things we believe or want, but deep down we were unwilling to integrate the qualities that would attract them?
The following ten keys are guidelines. Read them and find ways to integrate them into your own life. You’ll notice that each one starts with the word be—for example, Be clear. That’s because they’re focused less on what you need to do and more on what you need to be.
Be Clear. Clarity is one of the most important keys to manifesting what you want. If your thoughts aren’t clear, then the Universe , doesn’t know how or what to give you. If there’s something you’ve already determined for yourself, write a list of every detail you can think of, every attribute and characteristic that defines the goal. Look at this list often and add to it. Focus on the details as clearly as you can and imagine them in your mind.
Be Open. Now you’re being asked to be open to anything the Universe may send in your direction that either amplifies or clarifies the desired goal. In reality, they are supportive. Once you’ve clearly defined the desired experience, you then open yourself to every possible variation. It’s as if you declare to the Universe: “This or more.”
Be Willing. Your willingness to observe, absorb, and then release everything that comes into your consciousness will help determine how easily it flows into your life. Begin by observing what you desire and asking the following questions: Is it something that will serve more than your own self-interests? Does it genuinely inspire your heart?
Be Happy. The more you realize that you deserve perfect joy and accept it, the more you become the kind of teacher the world needs most.
Be Focused. Stay focused on what’s behind the goal rather than on the goal itself. Your mind doesn’t always know what’s best for you and a strict, unyielding mind-set might attract something that doesn’t serve your highest good, so opening to a flowing focus makes sense.
Be Expectant. Always expect the best! Affirm that everything you desire will come to you easily and naturally. Energy flows where attention goes. If you’re focused on creating something but your inner thoughts are fixed on failure, that’s what you’ll attract. We’ve all heard the saying “Expect a miracle.” This is very good advice, because what you truly expect will always be yours.
Be Energetic. The higher the impulse, the more energetic the response. In other words, your energy usually increases when you ask for what your soul really wants. Your heart is always a better barometer of what Heaven is choosing to add to your life.
Be Positive. If you’re negative about what you’re trying to attract, the Universe will interpret your negativity as not wanting.
Be True. Being true is the same as being honest—something that’s required if you want to successfully manifest your heart’s desire. You have to be honest with yourself.
Be Grateful. Gratitude is perhaps the most important key to attracting everything you deserve. It’s the activating force that Source can’t deny, and the Universe bows to a heart filled with Divine appreciation. When someone is grateful for a gift you’ve offered or a small act of kindness you’ve shown, it makes you want to give even more. The Universe works in a similar way.

Aqua.....My Time

For once bossip has something good to say.. always with the hating...
MEANWHILEEEE...

Happy Friday, Bossip Fam! Lovely Water Bearers, please know you were not forgotten! Last week we fell into the Aquarian cycle of the zodiac and just as this sign is known for being unpredictable, should we thank them for the onslaught of amazing weather we’ve had in the last few weeks? We are now in “Age of Aquarius,” so through these times, it’s been said that this astral sign will be the leaders of the zodiacs! Trendsetters with fearless ambition and an unrelenting sense of responsibility – that’s always been their nature but in their time of leadership things have to change! The need for it is great and never taken lightly, so the Aquarian will be working diligently to come into the person they strive to be – starting with whatever spiritual changes they feel need to take place, realigning their values and expectations along with solidifying their goals and aspirations in terms of their career, family life and the like. In this time, Aquarians mean business and they will stop at nothing to be successful at carrying out all their amazing, genius-like ideas they posses in the vast landscape of their head space.

The Water Bearer is known for being “eccentric” or original with avant garde style, quirky, sophisticated, quit-witted and hilarious! What’s possibly funnier than their jokes is their laughter, it’s infectious and when they let out a big, hearty chuckle, you can’t resist the urge to laugh out loud with them, even if the joke’s on you. Now, even though Aquarians are funny and fun to be around, they are often brutally honest to a fault, so if you don’t want the truth, don’t ask them because it hurts … when you ask an Aquarian. Their words are very honest, calculated and direct – they leave no room for misinterpretation. This is why they’re often accused of being emotionless which is not the case, they’re driven by logic. They’re also hugely opinionated, so once they’ve made up their mind, they’re not budging and it would be in your best interest to agree because they will go to war to convince you that they’re right! If they can’t (after a long court-room stlye debate) they will respect your opinion and agree to disagree because the Water Bearer’s heart and intentions are always genuine and they like to keep their many friends and family in a happy space at all times.

Loving an Aquarian is truly and adventure! They will challenge your thinking on a multitude of levels and, more importantly, be the driving force behind turning thoughts and ideas into reality! The Aquarian is so easy to fall in love with because their eyes are often dreamy and intensely focused when they’re interested. In fact, because their eyes, gazes and stares are so intense, they often overuse them so don’t be surprised that a lot of them wear glasses … nerdy but somehow stylish ones. That loving gaze they have makes one feel as though you’re the only two in the room, you know … that swirling feeling! That swoony, swirly, butterfly feeling carries over into the bedroom with this sign, so be ready for a very intense, yet, comfortable experience. They’re not always in it for physical gain, it’s all mental for them. They are one of the most devoted, committed partners one could ever ask for but if you’re loving an Aquarian, you better keep it fun and interesting! Don’t forget that the Aquarian’s brain is like the ocean – you can’t see where it ends, it’s always in motion and all that space is filled with so many thoughts and ideas; this is why curiosity and boredom tends to get the best of them from time to time. Again, keep it interesting and always be open to try new things! And please don’t try to make them jealous because they think a little differently and in doing this, you might just be reminding them of all the reasons why they want something new and fresh. So, folks, if you have the privilege of loving on an Aquarian, remember intellect will forever trump emotion with these guys, so be smart and keep them thinking!

My best friend is an Aquarius and she tends to be a little on the selfish side. She’s always looking for what will benefit her in any situation instead of supporting others. I love her to death though! She always keeps it real and she will never lie to me about anything. We’ve been friends for a very long time and she will always be a dear friend of mine but I can’t talk to her about everything. If I have an idea for business or something along those lines, she’s the first person I call because she knows everybody and will help me through the process. She’s awesome that way! - Kay, 31

I’m an Aquarius and I get called mean, rude, insensitive. I just don’t deal with nonsense and foolishness, you know what I mean? We can talk and all that but when you start trying to play me or talk like I’m beneath you, it’s a wrap! I don’t do well with crying and all that either. Most people say that I’m a difficult person to get to know but I don’t let everyone in and I’m a very private person. Once I do let you in though, it’s forever. You got a friend for life! - Steve, 35

I’m a Libra and my boyfriend is an Aquarius. I’ve read a lot of times that we’re cosmic soul mates. I love him in a way that I’ve never loved anyone else. I like that we can talk about everything. He’s always willing to communicate and it’s never an overly emotional argument or anything because I think we’re both pretty logical. I like that he gives me my space and I don’t have a problem giving him his either. It’s a good thing because it’s balanced and it allows us time to miss each other. The sex with him is so amazing. We have amazing sex. Some nights we don’t even do it, we’ll just make out and kiss each other for hours and fall asleep. But when it goes down, it goes down. He’s a freak and I love it. - April, 29

Shouts out to all the Aquarians! Happy birthday, Water Bearers!

Positive thought

It's a new day new week, and almost a new month.. :)
I have made it a ritual to follow a website/facebook page since late last year, and it has been a great eyeopener for me. I had a tendency to be lackadaisical at times, but since reading these posts, that word has been rapidly eradicated from my vocab.. and to share please read below. Also not that this is not an original post source: http://positive-thoughts.typepad.com/positive-thoughts/2011/01/living-life-in-the-present-moment-.html
Living life in the present moment .

I’ve discovered that I have greater success with living life in the present moment when I remove judgment from what I’m experiencing. Rather than making an event a bad or a good experience, I find myself being in the “isness” of the moment; that is, what I’m feeling is much more helpful than why it isn’t what I think it should be. This is called allowing rather than resisting what is. Even if I wish to change the moment, it’s far more useful to allow it without any judgment and then notice everything I can about it.
The more I stay out of my good-thought/bad-thought routine, the more I’m able to just be with it. I love to observe the instant without any judgment. Birds simply allow whatever comes their way, no matter if the wind picks up or the rain comes, and I work at being like one of those fabulous creatures. The way I do so is to ask myself this question: “What’s happening right here and right now, independent of my opinion about it?” Then I notice all that I can take in—the sky, the wind, the sounds, the light, the insects, the temperature, the people, the judgments…everything. I stay free of opinions and just let myself be. In these moments, I don’t need an excuse or an explanation for anything.
I try to keep in mind that whenever I react against any form that life takes in the present moment, I’m treating the now as some kind of impediment or even as my enemy.
Be without judgment and you’ll never feel the need for some tiresome excuse to use up your precious seconds, such as “I’m too old” or “It will take a long time” or “It will be too difficult.” Instead, you’ll be in the now, welcoming your constant present-moment companion, your Source of being, which knows nothing of excuses and doesn’t know how to be anyplace but here, now. As one of my spiritual predecessors, Dale Carnegie, once wrote: “One of the most tragic things I know about human nature is that all of us tend to put off living. We are all dreaming of some magical rose garden over the horizon—instead of enjoying the roses that are blooming outside our windows today.”
Become one in the present moment with all of the roses that show up in your life. Stay present: every second, every minute, and every hour. Every day of your life is full of present moments of infinite value. You won’t find God yesterday or tomorrow—your Source is always only here, now.

Tis the new year.. uh huh..

And so another year has come and gone gone gone on its not so merry way.. I think a vast amount of us will agree and say that 2010 was in fact one of the most toilsome years of the decade...but we of course can't forget the perks (if few or many) which somehow found ways of following through.

On a more personal note it was a year filled with trials and tribulations. I lost, i gained,i had many a change in my life.. many.., i hurt.. and so on .. but at the end of the day.. the only thing that really matters is that i came out on top a very strong and more open minded individual. I learnt my lessons, i took advice and put them into effect, which were quite rewarding and i am remarkably thankful for it all....

They say if you keep looking back into your past, you're just gonna be stuck there, hence no personal growth will come your way and you will constantly blame everyone else but yourself for everything which will go wrong ..(and wrong turns will indeed sneak up on you).. but you just have to suck it up,and put all the effort you possible can to make things better for you and ultimately everyone else(even if you may not realise it).

So to all I bid a wonderful 2011, may you be blessed with strength and courage to pull through tough situations, wisdom to know when to choose right from wrong (which is always btw)..:)...may you strive and put your all into all aspects of your life worth working for.I wish all good health, spiritual, physical and of course positive mental growth; and always remember that you will have bad days, things may not always go your way but it is up to you to make the best of it,and seek alternative ways to make things work in your favour....:).

I received a daily quote today and i will bid you adieu with it.

"The height of your accomplishments will equal the depth of your convictions" William F. Scolavino
